I’d like to thank you for the beautiful show in Barcelona. I was so excited, waiting for you to come on stage. It has been a very intense and magic night. When I saw that you were watching Nitzer Ebb’s show from the balcony I wanted to come there and shake your hand and talk to you. It seemed impossible that we were so close! I wish I could meet you one day. I’d like to have a drink and a chat with you, a kind of friendly interview about your career, before, during and after the Depeche era. I’d like to thank you for all the good music you gave us during the years and I’d like to thank you for playing Somebody with Martin at the Royal Albert Hall. Now, that was absolutely great. Surreal. Thank you for teaming up with Gareth and Daniel for another magic night in Berlin (Please, let them know that it has been a very good performance and they should record it and release it!). Of course, I missed both the London and the Berlin show, I didn’t have the chance to travel over there, but I made a good use of the internet and I could watch all the videos and pictures taken. And, yes, thank you for the tour blog and the video updates that make me feel closer to you and to the other fans over the world. I have friends in other countries who will come and see “A Strange Hour” and since they’ll enjoy the same show I saw here in Barcelona, it will be like we are together again under the same roof, with the same lights, listening to the same music. Thank you.
Please, don’t get tired of making music and to bring your work to the masses. If you are ever back in Barcelona, we could go for a walk on the seaside and have a beer looking at the sea and talking like old friends.
Looking forward to seeing new updates, I wish you all the best for the rest of the tour.
With love and admiration,
